See, I've been playing around with the idea of going private for the past couple of weeks after I caught wind of some comments that were made about a few of my posts that really hurt my feelings. I almost checked that privacy option right then and there, but I was worried that I might shut out some people who really do enjoy reading my blog, but who don't make themselves known.
I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to go private, in fact I change my mind about every day. I'd love to hear some of your thoughts and to all you anonymous readers, this is your chance! I love my blog and I enjoy posting and chronicling the events that go on in our lives. I hope Austin can look back one day and really have fun reading about his life in this manner and enjoy it as much as I have...after all, he is the reason for this blog! Even if me and my family were the only people reading, I would continue to blog because I do it for me, for Austin and for those that love and care about us...not for contest entries, advertising or to make money. This blog is a true account of our everyday lives, however uninteresting they may sometimes be!
My original thought was to "punish" those who were bad-mouthing by eliminating their access to the blog, but I don't want to take away access to everyone else out there just to punish a few sorry people. So, if you enjoy reading about our everyday, often uninteresting, lives and want this blog to remain open....let me know or shoot me an e-mail at inimnijeni@hotmail.com Also, enter the dang contest and try to win some free stuff!! :-D

I like reading your blog so I hope you don't go private! I didn't enter the contest because none of the items were applicable to Tyler, but maybe I'll enter anyway ;-). Sorry to hear about the badmouthing. I can't imagine that from a baby blog!
Who badmouthed you??? PLAH ON THEM!!! I go back and forth on whether or not to go private as well. I considered it and then was convinced by a lot of my readers not too. There are still days when I still think I should go private. If you decide to do it let us know so we can be included in the access!! :)
Sorry to hear about the yucky comments. I love reading and catching up on Austin's adventures! You are a fantastic mom and I'm sure Austin will love to look back and see how loved he's always been.

I LOVE YOUR BLOG! I enjoy reading about the adventures y'all have with Austin. I've also debated on whether or not to go private but haven't because I sometimes enjoy reading people's blogs who I don't know! Go with whatever you feel is right for you and Austin. But like Kristy said let us know so we can be included! Oh, I didn't enter the contest because I found out about it too late! Things have been pretty busy here! I'd love to still enter if I can!!
I love reading your blog--it is the first thing I do every morning!! I am sorry some folks had some bad comments. Keep up the good blogging--it keeps us up to date on all your happenings--Your really have a great writing ability--Austin will indeed be proud of you in the future when he can read all your comments--this is better than a babybook!! Jennifer, I like reading your blog about your adventures with Austin. Since I just had a baby, I can relate to you and other mommies. I makes me feel better, as a mom, going through some of the bad and good times of motherhood as others. I'm sorry there are people out there that don't respect your blog, but I've really enjoyed it.
First, I didn't do the giveaway b/c I don't have a baby. Next, do whatever you think is best; you have great judgement. There are always people who have to rain on other's parades though and you are stronger and better than those people. If there are people badmouthing the blog then why are they reading it? They have a choice and the fact that they read it and then have to make some sort of critism shows how incredibly small minded they are and how their own tiny little lives must not be that interesting or they wouldn't be so involved in yours! In short, screw them and if you want me to share this view with them personally then give me names and I'll write a scathing email to them.
