Evening at the farm

Friday I was so excited because it was the Boo in the Zoo members night at the Greenville Zoo! I couldn't wait to dress Austin up in his costume and take him to the zoo and had been looking forward to it all week! Unfortunately, we soon discovered that the event was cancelled due to the recent rain we've been having and I was seriously crushed. :( That is, until my awesome hubby reminded me that Denver Downs was open on Friday evenings and instead of waiting until next weekend, we could go up there that night! My spirits were lifted, the camera battery charged and we were off as soon as Austin and I got back from his doctor's visit!

Denver Downs is a family run farm near Clemson and they have some really fun fall activities including a corn maze, hay rides, pumpkin patch, seed boxes, cow rides, photo ops, a zip line, corn hole, mini mazes and tons more! We got there as soon as they opened and didn't leave until after dark! We attempted the corn maze but had to give up after we got in there and realized we had no idea what we were doing. Yep, we were rule breakers! Austin enjoyed the seed boxes and as soon as he gets out of this "put everything in mouth" phase, we're definitely going to have to get him a sand box.

We had all intentions of making it to Rock the John that night but had so much fun on the farm that we left too late and were too tuckered out for anymore fun!! We took so many pictures while we were there that I'm having a hard time deciding which ones to post. But isn't the little guy just too adorable in his blue jeans? He's looking more and more like a little boy everyday!
