Year in Review!

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought it would be fun...

The Year In Review:
1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? I had my beautiful baby boy, Austin Ryan!
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn't have a resolution last year, but this year it is to drink more water and try and lose this baby weight!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Two good friends had their little ones in 2007, Tonya & Stefania
4. Did anyone close to you die? No, thank the Lord
5. What countries did you visit? We traveled to the British Virgin Islands during our St. John trip
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? More energy, patience and kindness for others.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? October 15, the day Austin was born!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Getting pregnant and having my baby boy!
9. What was your biggest failure? No failures, but I dissappointed myself at times.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Haha, my episiotomy maybe!? ;-)
11. What was the best thing you bought? Austin's rainforest playgym, he loves it!!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Austin, of course!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? I'll keep this one to myself!
14. Where did most of your money go? St. Francis and Babies R Us!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The birth of my baby boy!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Austin by Blake Shelton
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:a) happier or sadder? happier now that Austin is in my life :) .b) thinner or fatter? definitely fatter c) richer or poorer? probably the same
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? spent time with my family
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? gotten upset over stupid things (and people!)
20. How did you spend Christmas? with all my family
21. Did you fall in love in 2008? I fell in love with my baby boy the moment I laid eyes on him!
22. What was your favorite TV program? Heroes
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I don't hate them, but I am dissappointed
24. What was the best book you read? Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Austin's lullaby CD's
26. What did you want and get? my little boy to get here safely!
27. What did you want and not get? I can't think of a single thing!
28. What was your favorite film of this year? I honestly don't know, it will probably be Marley & Me if I'm ever able to go see it :)
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 27 and I spent it with Austin and Ryan on the couch eating pizza and watching the Clemson v. Illinois basketball game :)
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I can't think of anything better than giving birth to my sweet little guy!!
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? Maternity!
32. What kept you sane? Austin & Ryan
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? No one
34. What political issue stirred you the most? The presidential election
35. Who did you miss? At times I missed seeing my friends and family more
36. Who was the best new person you met? Austin Ryan Harris!
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. Motherhood is the toughest yet most rewarding thing you can ever do with your life!
