Yummy recipe...so easy!!

I bought a box of Velveeta Shells & Cheese awhile ago and when the mac & cheese craving hit this week I made some for lunch. I ended up saving the empty box after noticing a recipe on the back that looked interesting and I decided to try it out last night. It was so quick and easy and Ryan and I were both really impressed. I think it's become one of our new faves! Here's the recipe if anyone needs a yummy and quick dinner.

Velveeta Nacho Bake
1 pkg. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.)
Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup Sour Cream
3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
3/4 cup Salsa
1/2 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Prepare Dinner following Basic Directions. While Macaroni is cooking, brown meat; drain. Add taco seasoning mix and water to the meat; simmer 5 min. STIR sour cream into prepared Dinner. Spoon half of the Dinner mixture into 8-inch square baking dish; top with layers of the meat mixture, half of the cheese and the remaining Dinner mixture. Cover. BAKE 15 min.; top with salsa, remaining cheese and the crushed tortilla chips. Bake, uncovered, an additional 5 min.

***Tip: Save 90 calories and 12 grams of fat per serving by preparing with Velveeta Light Shells & Cheese Dinner, extra lean ground beef, Reduced Fat or Light Sour Cream and 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese.
